With the conception of 2023, there are many things to look forward to, new projects, new adventures, and new opportunities for personal growth and development. Throughout the year 2022, there is a lot that we have accomplished and a lot that we have learned. So here is a bit of how my 2022 went 👀:
A look into the past year
Started working on my second book of the trilogy, “Unforged Truth.” The first book I released amidst the Pandemic was left on a cliffhanger, but fear not! As the second of this compelling tale is almost out if you haven’t checked out the first yet, It’s available on Amazon’s Kindle right here 📚: https://www.amazon.ca/Unforged-Truth-Rebellion-against-Injustice-ebook/dp/B08HGHGSD9
Throughout this year, I also participated in the CONRAD challenge, where my team and I proposed the idea of a Blockchain system that makes the system of medical donation of drugs and equipment more transparent without the scare of corrupt intermediaries and the lack of interaction between the suppliers, NGO organizations and the hospitals in especially third world nations who would be in need. Building this well-overdue transparency would allow hospitals to receive the necessities needed and major suppliers and corporations to do away with older/excess material 🏥.
I am currently in the planning stages for my startup Turtleshell, which is an application for tourists visiting a new area! This application will warn users if they pass into an area of threat or frequent crime while venturing into unknown lands. This will allow individuals to take precautionary measures beforehand, ensuring their safety. The application will use data collected by local police, government organizations, and personal experiences from users who have recently been in that area; (once we get enough users, of course). The application will utilize Map APIs and user location to collect information about the individual utilizing the application to provide accurate suggestions 🗺️!
Throughout the latter half of this year, I also commenced my focus project for TKS, where I am focusing on Artificial Intelligence; currently, through my process, I have constructed a few of my own really cool Neural Networks and have also looked into the interrelation between Artificial Intelligence and Mental health, and how concepts of AI and neural nets can be used to limit many issues such as depression, chronic stress or even suicidal attempts. Be sure to check out my work on Medium over here; https://medium.com/@aravmathur23, and here is an example of a trained AI model which can detect facial emotions; https://www.kaggle.com/code/aravmathur23/cnn-model-code 🤖.
But what’s next?
The year ahead holds various opportunities for me to show my skills further; although I do not have a direct plan on how I want to approach this year, I do resolute to approach this year with a sense of purpose and determination to explore new possibilities, take on new challenges, and push myself beyond my comfort zone. I want to continue doing things I like, such as implementing and creating new ideas; hopefully, for the betterment of the world, I will make a conscious effort to stay motivated and focused on my goals. With a positive mindset and a willingness to take risks, I am confident that I can seize the opportunities that come my way and make the most of them to showcase my skills and achieve success.
Here are some things to look forward to for the upcoming year:
The create stage of my TKS focus
More extensive work with my Non-Profit Positive Powers
Look to expand the concept of “Turtle Shell”
Get in touch with some tech mental health startups in order to find assistance in articulating my own solution to limiting Suicidal Attempts using AI
Continue making cool technology projects such as Neural Networks and brand new Apps!
This is the year I get things done 💪.
